Stella
I was adopted from the Scituate Animal Shelter in Scituate, RI when I was 2. I'm a local girl. I was nervous and scared when my humans brought me home. Now they brag that I am a strong woman. So far I have overcome my fear of other dogs, water and riding in the car, AND I AM NOT DONE YET! -

Beau
Woof, I moved in with Stella and her humans a year ago. I love to look out the window and bark like crazy when I see something I can chase. Squirrels, deer, cars, people are fair game. The best is the FedEx driver. That human shakes in his boots when I come running. Fun FACT, I am a pussy cat. Shhhhhh
6 yr old - Pappipoo

Luna
I live in East Berlin CT. Another cat named Bella used to live here too. The house just wasn't big enough for the both of us....it's too bad Bella wouldn't use the litter box...hee, hee, hee!

Daisy and Sprout
We live in Toronto Canada. Dad loves to take us for walks. He says it's important to get fresh air. People are always talking to us, saying how cute we are and offering treats. Dad takes great care of us. He knows how tired a day out can be so he always takes us to the back of his favorite coffee shop to nap.

Chihuahua mix - Wolcott, CT

Peanut
My human and I live in North Haven, CT. I am an only child. It's just the two of us, we stick together through thick and thin. My human enjoys dressing me up in the most ridiculous clothes. As long as he keeps bringing me EVERYWHERE with him and sneaking me people food it's a fair exchange

Sparkles
At the doggie spa today the adult humans kept telling me how adorable I looked...
So why do the little humans seem scared and run away as soon as they see me?
3 yr. old-Chepatchet, RI

Gizmo
Hi I'm Gizmo, I am the mascot for the CT suicide prevention campaign- "1 WORD, 1 VOICE, 1 LIFE...Be the one to start the conversation," My friends and I (other therapy dogs and K9 First Responders) use a warm and fuzzy approach to introduce children to what can be a challenging subject for adults to discuss and for children to understand. My book "Gizmo's Pawesome Guide to Mental Health" is a way to introduce mental health and wellness information and skills to younger children in a fun way. Keep a lookout. I go to lots of events all over CT.

Bobbie Socks & Josie
Welcome to Ponagansett Acres Ranch, more lovingly referred to as Lazy Acres. Over the years there have been several other friends.
Josie - First on the scene. I'm a beautiful buckskin Quarter horse. Make no bones
about it...I am the leader of the pack!
Ginger - A beautiful White Arabian
Lady Guinevere (Guinny) - A Thoroughbred able to retire and relax for the last years of her life.
Mr. Ed. - Need we say more. Mr. Ed was a easy going Quarter horse who enjoyed being the male of the heard.
Bobbie Socks- Last on the scene. Sweet and loveable to every human and animal.
